Mike Mclain shares his collection of old postcards from the 1900’s that he inherited from his Grandmother
Over the last few months I have been slowly working on digitizing and archiving (among other things) a number of older documents that my grandmother left to me upon her passing that were (in turn) left to her when her father passed. While the task of digitizing older documents is a relatively common practice within today's society; however, I found these older documents particularly interesting because they consisted predominately of old letters and postcards from the early 20th century (circa 1906) and such documents are not something you generally just find laying around in legible condition.
Conversely, while it is my intent (in the distant future) to make my entire digitized collection of older documents available via my website (although I have a lot of work still left to do); however, I did managed to digitize all of the old post cards i found and i decided (based upon the fact that anything created before 1923 falls into the category of public domain) to share the fruits of my labors.
Enjoy!
